What do I love most about staging a vacant home?
Watching it come to life and hearing the squeals from the Realtor and homeowner when they see the completed project. In fact, it's now habit to greet them at the door and "invite" them into the home so that they too can experience the ever-so-important first impression.
Here are some "before" and "after" pictures from the project I did yesterday:
When vacant - the room appeared cold and left nothing for the prospective buyers to connect to.
Here's the transformation in the kitchen area.

Thanks Judy, Cheryl-Anne, Yvonne and Leslie!
Judy - Thanks for such a sweet thing to say.
Cheryl-Anne - I always want to see the reaction first hand which is why I invite them over. Good luck with your very white and sterile home. I'm sure it will look gorgeous when you're done with it.
Leslie - The living room is the first room you see (the room with the two chairs and the tall greenery) so... it's making quite the statement when you enter!
Yvonne - Thanks for visiting my web site. I love looking at other stagers sites as I'm always so inspired!

Kathy, girl, you sure know how to add the WOW factor! I just knew you would do something with that painting aboeve the fireplace!
Marci - this painting was the only thing inside the home and it just had to go! You know me well!
Kay - If the weather isn't cold, I'm there! In which case, book the flight now.
It is a simple look and by design. The room is large and very white (white walls, light colored carpet). So.... with staging, it's all about highlighting the features of the home. A) the tall plants allow the prospective buyers to see how grand the ceilings are and b) the chairs and plants showcase the fireplace. Thanks for your post!

Ha Ha in the second pictue I recognize that square beige tin with the faux greenery in the middle on the shelf-That is Ross all the way baby! I have one of those in a longer version that I love on top of bathroom toilets with a great picture above. :-)
Nice job Kathy! That artwork they had before was just awful. LOL
Karla - You nailed it!!!! Yup, that was a Ross purchase. I wished I had the bigger version as it is so versatile. You'll have to get me one and send it to me as a present.
In fact, anyone can send me a present, if they'd like. They don't even have to be wrapped!
Kathy
I love the chairs Katy. You do great work!
