Model Home Staging in Atlanta, Georgia
Years ago, it was recommended that I NOT focus on model homes. Instead, it was suggested that I "leave that up to the interior decorating companies that exists as they're the pros." By golly, that was all I needed. Based on my success with home staging resale homes, I knew with all the certainty in the world that I could stage a model home.
I was right.
In the past four years, I've had the good fortune of staging many model homes throughout Atlanta. In fact, one of the homes was featured on the front page of the living section in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Prior to the article coming out, we had 9 homes under contract in less than 2 weeks.
So what made staging model homes a reality for my company?
- I was on a mission. I knew that I could provide an cost effective solution that would save the builders and investors thousands of dollars.
- I applied the same logic as I did with my home staging projects. Buyers need to emotionally connect with the home. Nothing new there.
- I listened. Understanding the demographics of the buyer helped define what we would be bringing into the home.

Signed "Missing Our Coffee Chats!"
Another great post, Kathy! I hope to see photos of the entire condo in a future post. You are truly a pro at what you do.
Thanks, Cathy!
Hi, Thom - I just left you a voice mail! Call me when you can.
Kathy
Kathy, love those close up shots, they are beautiful. I had to laugh when I read the first line of this post. I can just see that statement putting a fire under you! And it did, mission accomplished!
Kathy, Good for you, of course with your knowledge and expertise you should stage model homes. Your decorating is just fabulous.
Those builders and investors know a good thing when they see it. I'm sure they are very happy they invested in your services!
I whole heartedly agree, it is cost effective for builders. I know builders that have spent as much on the interior decorating as the house actually cost. They don't have to do that anymore...they have stagers that will save them big bucks!
Always beautiful photos of beautiful work Kathy. Who would ever give you such poor business advice - to leave the model homes to interior designers? Wonderful for Atlanta builders that you didn't listen!
