This Home Only Looks Like a Million Bucks - But it's not.
There's a myth out there that home staging benefits the high-end homes only. This couldn't be farther from the truth. All homes, whether you're staging it yourself or using a professional, can reap the rewards.
Case in point - Guess how much this home is listed for. It's an after picture of a home staging project in Atlanta that I had completed a couple of weeks ago. You can see the before and after picture here.
What's the asking price? $89K. It doesn't look like it, does it?
So what's my point? The benefits of home staging applies to all price points because:
- Buyers lack vision
- Buyers rely on their emotional connection to the home. A vacant home just doesn't give out the same look and feel
- Buyers need to envision living in the home

Wow, Kathy -- $89K is an unbelievable price. Your staging makes it look SO much more expensive!! It just goes to show homeowners and agents how staging can help sell even very modestly-priced homes.
FANTASTIC staging in what appears to be a steal of a home. Nice work and great post. In Oregon we're getting many realtors behind staging even for the more modest listings.
Kathy - I think that's a point many sellers and Realtors overlook. Staging works regardless of the price range. Houses that show better sell faster and for more money. It's pretty simple. Great job.

Wow! My head almost exploded when I saw the price! I guess this knocks the wind out of the theory that staging is only for high end homes! I wish we had homes like that for $89,000 around here.

At first I thought it was a type and it was really supposed to be 189k or 289k - but 89k? These folks were very smart to go ahead and stage despite the misconception that staging is only useful in higher end homes.
We all know that simply isn't true and this is a perfect example.
