I've had the great pleasure of working with many investors throughout Atlanta and enjoy watching a home go from absolutely nothing to something beautiful in a matter of weeks. It's fun to be involved in these projects for a variety of reasons. Our company is asked to participate in some of the bigger decisions such as what walls (if any) need to come down; what type of flooring should be used, granite type, etc... Here's a recent project we completed today: This is what the home looked like right after it was purchased by the investor (and yes, that's a bathtub in the living room): Here is how the room looked like after the renovations and with the furniture brought in but not yet staged: Here's how the room turned out after we worked our magic with home staging: And here's a view at a slightly different angle: This is our 8th home and we're hoping to beat our record by having it go under contract in 6 days or less. Home Staging for an Atlanta investor has been so rewarding for everyone involved. Stay tuned for more homes as we're staging two more in a weeks time.

Great job!! I am a big believer in staging. We just sold our townhouse in Fremont, CA. Four offers in one week and we closed a couple of weeks ago over the asking price. My wife, who didn't see the value in staging said she teared up after she saw our townhouse after it had been staged. Fortunately, she still wanted to sell it!
I am soooo glad that you found the niche with investors. Yes, they are very different than working with your average REA or home owner. It does take some finesse. The room looks great Kathy! Got my fingers crossed for 5 days and multiple offers;) XXXX
Just beautiful! Hope the sale is speedy and your record is broken. Thanks for sharing your work.
Hi Kathy, what a difference. I specifically love what you did to the fireplace.
Removing the dated bookcases sure made the space feel more current. The hardwood floor was a great choice too. Great recommendations and staged beautifully. Good luck Kathy!
hey Kathy! I, too, like the fireplace and no more bookselves. Good choices. You have a great team going here!
Beautiful, beautiful job Kathy. I bet this one sells quickly too. Your investor is lucky to have found you.
I'm sure your investor loves you! You're making him lots of money and his properties aren't staying on the market for long!
Peter - I'm so glad to hear that your home sold so quickly.
Thanks, Lori Kim. I believe he's putting it on the market this week and the open house is this weekend. I'll keep you posted.
Lori & Barbara - Thank you!
Thanks, Michele. I too love the color of the flooring. The fact that the bookshelves have been removed really updates this room.
Michelle - We (the investor and agent included) feel like we have the most perfect combination going.
Thanks, Cindy.

Lovely job Kathy.
I have not actively marketed to investors in past but you inspire me to possibly rethink that. Thanks for the inspiration and the great photos. Good luck on beating your record.
Investors are wonderful. Wish I could land me a couple.
Great job and keep up the good work
Great work Kathy, as always.
You left the standing lamp on the right off during the photo...I am curious as to why.
RESA can always invite ME to speak about taking better photos too ya know! =P
I meant to remove that lamp entirely. In other words, it shouldn't have been in this picture (smile).
As for the convention - I know we're full on speakers. But.. you would have been perfect!
Kathy
