Very nice consumer guide Kathy, thank you much for the information.
I'm going to put this in my listing packet. Thank you!
Thanks for posting, Kathy. Great collection of facts. Important publication.
Thanks Kathy for the link. The only question I have is: on the page about important things to consider when hiring a home stager -- why would it make any difference whether the stager's furniture is owned or leased? That really shouldn't matter to the client, who is paying for professional staging, and a professional stager selects furnishings that fit each particular home. (Mentioning this aspect of staging seems to imply something about rental furniture that simply isn't true, and it seems likely that consumers may misinterpret it.)
Kathy: Thanks for posting this consumers' guide. Its great information for home stagers and real estate agents to share with their clients.
Maureen: The only reason a consumer should be concerned about where the furniture is coming from is to make sure that they are not stuck with inappropriate furniture or accessories if that is all the stager happens to have left over in their warehouse. Regardless of the source of the furniture, it should be appropriate to the style and price point of the home.
Kathy, I haven't downloaded it yet but it sounds wonderful for those that are still not sure on how Staging helps and even what it is. It's a wonderful way to inform and educate.
Kathy....thank you for posting this!! I'll download and share with my clients!
Looks nice Kathy!!
