Is your home or listing making the buyers short list?
That "short list" is serious business. Buyers are absolutely using the Internet to narrow their search for their next home. How can you help make that "short list?"

- Ensure the location of your home stands out. Buyers will narrow their search based on location first.
- Next, ensure the price of your home is clearly visible. Once buyers narrow their search based on the location(s) they're interested in, they will next narrow it further by looking at the price of the home.
- Load the listing up with beautiful pictures. Listings with one photo or worse yet, no photos, will NOT help you sell your home. Buyers will no doubt be looking for homes with pictures that show the exterior as well as the interior.
P.S. I sure wish this women didn't look so angry. She really needs to smile more.
As a professional home stager in Atlanta, I understand just how important the photos are to a listing. It's one of the reasons why I include them at no additional charge for all of the homes I stage.
Here are a few of my most recent projects (and some of my most favorite pictures) that were sent to the homeowners for their use in marketing the home.

We have buyers coming from other states so the Internet is important.
We have many of our listings making the short list.
We just need to"kick them off the fence".
Gorgeous photos. I believe they are number one in a listing. Your photos are particularly good with the closeup "mood" shots. That sets the tone.
We agree on all points Kathy especially about posting pictures, good looking pictures. Which you have displayed as well here. Yes, that lady needs a weekend at the spa!
It's all about the first impression. Well done.
Yes, it is worth investing in a great camera to take amazing shots. Internet is important.
Oh how important pictures are..I have been tarrgeting expireds lately and have noticed a huge lack of pictures! I feel so frustrated for the sellers....especially when I see them re-listed with the same agent and no changes made!! uuugggghhh
Great advice Kathy, and of course I always love looking at your beautiful photos.
Your pictures will have these homes on the short list. Simply Beautiful
You are so right. Photos make all the difference. I recently took some photos for my husband's listing and we agonized over which ones to use in advertising. If you're smart enough to hire a stager, the photos should be done by a professional for sure and made to showcase the beautiful staging job which highlights the houses features.
Thank you, everyone, for your very kind words. The pictures (or absence of pictures) can make or break getting your home on the short list.
Cari - the photos in this blog were taken by me. While I'm not a professional photographer (by any means), I do, however, spend an incredible amount of time taking the pictures as well as editing. I feel a blog post coming on (smile).

Wonderful post! Very beautiful pictures! I agree with Mark comments above!
Staging does work!
Thanks for sharing.

Kathy, you are so right, the best staging in the world won't help if the best photos, or any photos aren't taken and advertised. You should post about taking the best photos. Yours are awesome!
