Atlanta Home Staging Company: Same 5 Bedroom Suites; 5 Different Looks

This Atlanta Home Staging Company, Georgia Interior Solutions, has the expertise and experience to help showcase your home and/or listing so that it stands out from the others on the market. With years of experience and a massive inventory designed to compliment any style home, we implement solutions that draw the buyer in and allow them to emotionally connect with the home.

Same 5 Bedroom Suites; 5 Different Looks

As most people are aware, I outsource my furniture rental needs.  In the beginning, I thought perhaps it made more sense to purchase.  However, as time went on, I realized that this would mean transporting, renting a truck, hiring help and then storing the items.   In summary, I decided leasing the furniture was the better option.

With leasing comes the new challenge.  How do we make each bedroom look different using the same exact bedroom suite? The truth of the matter is that each home is unique and each has its' own style.  The opportunity really lies with the layout of the room and the opportunity with unique bedding.

Here are the 5 examples:

Beautiful photos showing off your creativity, style and attention to detail. Your rental company should give you a discount for this work!!

Kathleen, this looks great.  You are right, you do not even notice the same furniture, each room is different, and the power of accessories can never be over looked.
Posted by No Longer Available almost 5 years ago
You completely changed the look of the furniture each and every time.  Love the comforters by the way.

Hi Kathy,

Beautiful looking rooms. You have a great eye. Wish you were here in So. Cal. Thanks for your input and comments on my blog.

Amazing how different each room looks.  A room is more than the furniture, it is about color, light, scale, accessories, placement --- as always, your work is fabulous.

Kathy,

You make every room so inviting. Do you mostly work with one or two bed sizes in the homes you stage or do you also include king if needed?

Beautiful job as always,

Sue - Wouldn't that be great?  I did send them some of the "after" pictures of a project I just completed.  They were thrilled with the results.

Joelle - You're right.  It's amazing what the power of accessories can do for a room.

Thanks, Sandra and Open Home Mortgage (smile).

Tina - I use to live in Southern California.  In fact, we lived in San Diego for 12 years.  I miss it terribly.

Lori  - Thanks for your kind words.

Kathy:  Great idea for a blog and so true.  As I always say, It's not so much about the furniture, buy how you accessorize it!  I feel a blog coming on thanks to your inspiration here.  As always your work is flawless.

Kathy as always, beautiful job.  I wish we had a place here to rent nice furniture, that would definitely be the way I would go.  But alas, I'm left to my own devices, i.e. cardboard furniture :-)

Kathy - They all look completely different.  All beautiful.  I got the same picture as the one in the top photo at Kirklands - it was on sale for $12. I got 4.  It really is a great print.

Kathy,

GREAT illustration on the power of staging, regardless of what furniture you're using!  You made each room unique and that's what people remember....they won't even notice the pieces are the same.  Your photos are really stunning too -- what camera are you using?

Kathy, I love how you are able to change the rooms with accessories and get so many different looks.  My favorite is the green room and I especially love the green metal piece over the bed.  Great job.  Betty

Simply BRILLIANT! You are a fantastic stager and I have been really enjoying seeing your photos. Accessories make all the differences in the world, which reminds me that I need to be less lazy & uninspired and switch things up a little bit!

Cheers,

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Maureen B - These 5 bedrooms are in 5 different homes.  As for the pictures, some were taken by Carolyn Hollier with MyVisualListings.com and others I had taken with my Sony camera.

Janice - This particular bedroom suite was leased from Aaron.  I also use Brook.

Maureen H - I too love those prints.  I also purchased at Kirklands but didn't hit quite the same that you did.  In the first picture, you can't tell, but the two prints are sisters prints.  It's the reflection in the mirror that makes them look identical.

Betty - I too love that metal art and that particular bedroom is one of my favorites.

Thanks too to all my staging sisters who have commented.

5 beautiful looks Kathy. I like all of them. It is interesting that the furniture is the same but the bedding made you not see that.  Love it.

Kathy this portfolio is awesome!  You did a great job.  This is something that you can show an investor who does reno or flip work. We used the same furniture in 4 homes last summer.  The investor had an auction every week end.  We would just move the furniture to another house and add new accents.  It works, just as you have shown us with these great pics :) Love that chocolate and white bedspread... where did you get that?

I know everyone else has already said it but Awesome job! A picture is worth a thousand words and this really sends the message home about the changes that can be made with staging.  This could well be a bedroom suite owned by the homeowner and it shows them how it can be neutralized or updated from their present decor
Posted by Diana Corcoran - Rhinebeck Real Estate (Prudential Serls Prime Properties) almost 5 years ago

Thanks, Debbie.

Maria - I too love bedding.  In fact, I went out today and bought three more sets (all different).

Thanks, Diana.  I agree, the suite is generic enough and you're right likely what some of the homeowners have.  Thanks for your comments!

Hi Kathy,

These rooms look great,  It was really surprising to see how different a room can look with the same furniture.  The bedding that was chosen is also very nice.

WOW! Total page turner...amazing use of accessories to create "the look!"   This is a good example even for those of us that own our furniture.  It is tough in 2nd tier markets to live by the quality of one rental option so I have purchased my own furniture.  However, I face the same issue in that if I find a bedroom suite that is attractive and well priced I buy several...in the end we all face similar challenges!
