As a professional stager, I'm often asked what room is my favorite to decorate. And as much as I'd like to think that I don't have a favorite - I have to admit that I love staging kitchens. I'm on the constant look-out for kitchen accessories whether it's cookbooks, greenery, kitchen towels, etc... to keep my inventory fresh.
Here are a few examples of kitchens I've recently staged:

Kathy P - The first one is one of my favorites as well. Thanks for your post.
Kathy
Kathy.. I love them all..I like the reds in the first one
the apples and greenery in the second one, the canisters in the third one and the last one- I love how you have green accents in that one! Well, I may be partial to the green one- that is the color of my kitchen!
It's the color of my kitchen too!!! I love it!
Kathy
Hi Kathy

What's up with advertising in comments now?!
Anyway, great job as always! Thanks for sharing.
Cindy - I have no idea why that "advertisement" was posted. I'm reported it as Spam and have deleted the comment.
Thanks for commenting.
No wonder yo ulike doing kitchens - you do them fantastically. (is that even a word? prob not...)
Why Thank You, Marcyne. That was super sweet of you to say.
Kathy
Kathy, Tell me, do you (personally) have several sets of dishes, more than one group of flat or silverware, lots of kitchen linens? I do. Like you, I love kitchens. I even like cooking once in a while. Once again you've shown the way with your post and your work. Way to go, girl!
The kitchen is always my LEAST favorite area. Probably a holdover from my own home--I hate cooking!

Kitchens are fun, they are the heart of the home! It is one of my favorite areas too!
All your kitchens look great, Kathy!
Thanks, Joelle!
Kim - I'm not allowed in my own kitchen unless it's to make the salad or set the table. I once made a cake and caught the stove on fire (oopsie). Perhaps that's why I love staging them??
Kathy
looks good I'm looking for ideas for kitchen makeovers, but unfortunately this kitchen will never look like those.
Thanks for a thought provoking post on staging - much appreciated by both of us!
