The House That Got an Offer Before It Was Listed In MLS

As promised, here are a few of the pictures of a home I staged back on January 18th.  This is the home that received an offer before it was even listed in MLS.  Oh - the offer?  It was for the full asking price.

Here's the family room before staging:

Now here's the after picture (Note: Photo taken by a professional photographer).

Here's a picture of the kitchen.  I don't have the same angle so am not including the before picture.

Dining room before staging:  Notice the black molding?  And yes, it does match the lamp shades but... isn't quite the look that most home buyers would find appealing

Dining room "after" staging:

And here's a unique photo of the master bathroom.  I love the simplicity of this shot.

Kathy, I think I mentioned this problem before -- I'm running out of superlative words to use when speaking of your work. Great, fantastic, wonderful, beautiful, fabulous, extraordinary! So I've decided to simply use several all at once. Marvelous job dahleen!

Kathy,

I am with Yvonne on this, I too am running out of words. I am gonna have to go with stellar! I especially love the last photo. It is a great vignette shot I have been meaning to take a few photos like this for my website but always forget and am usually in a rush when taking my after photos.

Kathy Wow!  What a difference.  What was with the black baseboard?  So much nicer painted the same as the woodwork.  The photos are  aweso,e!  Congratulations on your success.

Kathy - I too love the simplicity of the bathroom shot.  It can sometimes be difficult to take good photos of bathrooms.  There are times when I have removed the bathroom door just to get the shot.  Great transformation.  Congratulations.

Very beautiful work... the bathroom is my very favorite shot - just gorgeous.  Congrats on the sale before the listing too.

It looks fabulous!  I think the key too is having a professional photographer take the picture.  When photos tell so much of the story to those looking online why not tell a story that makes potential buyers feel like they are living in a parade home?  Great job!

Bringing in furniture allows the potential buyer to see how a space can be used.  Great job

Isabel - this particular photographer did a superb job.  I need to shadow him for about a month and learn how to take great shots like he does.

GREAT JOB Kathy N!  I recognize that furniture! : )  You did a super job!  I am a HUGE fan of the cookbook holder in the Kitchen!  It is one of the items which I feel makes a difference for the buyer who bonds with the kitchen! The bathroom photo angle is cool--I want to try it! Nice!  Regards-Kathleen G

PS-Good job painting those dark baseboards dove white!
