Seven days after I had staged the townhome I received a call from the sales manager for the development telling me that the model home had sold. There was excitement in his voice and I could just tell that he had more news. He quickly added "And, Kathy, we're under contract with 4 of the 5 units since you staged the home just 7 days ago." There are only 5 completed with another 15 underway.
And yes, it beats my wildest expectations. I knew the home looked beautiful and offered prospective buyers with a warm and inviting home in which they could envision living in. However, did I expect 4 to go under contract in 7 days? No. But I'm thrilled for them.
As with all of my projects, I place a great deal of time and effort into the design plan for the home. This project was a little different in-that in addition to the accessories, I had the great pleasure of selecting the furniture the builder would purchase.
Here's the home, prior to staging. As you can see, the room, at this point, had no carpet nor had they finished the painting.

And after staging (see below). The style of the home Is Mediterranean.

Thanks everyone! The home is due to be professionally photographed soon, so... I'll have plenty of great shots to share with you.
Also - I'll be soon staging a second unit (scheduled for next week) which will be mediteranean as well but... a whole different layout. The furniture has been selected and the accessories will be purchased over the weekend. There'll be lots more pictures to share real soon.
Thanks again!
Kathy
Kathy,
Way to go! 4 units sold in 7 days in this market is a true testamant to your talent.
Your work and project just get more amazing all the time!! Hey wait a minute you sold 4 house with only 1 staging - does that mean you get payed 4 times!! LOL!
Becky
What's great is that the open house for the development hasn't occurred yet. I was signed on to do two homes and the 2nd one will be completed next week. When that is done, they'll have the grand opening and open house. Can't wait!
And yes, there'll be more pictures. I promise.
Kathy
Thanks, Kathleen G!
