Atlanta Home Staging Company: Why I Love Staging!

This Atlanta Home Staging Company, Georgia Interior Solutions, has the expertise and experience to help showcase your home and/or listing so that it stands out from the others on the market. With years of experience and a massive inventory designed to compliment any style home, we implement solutions that draw the buyer in and allow them to emotionally connect with the home.

Why I Love Staging!

I love what I do!  Why?

  • It's rewarding!  I get to witness first hand the results staging a home can provide.
  • I get to help others; the realtor, the homeowner, the investor, the builder.
  • I'm a creative person by nature and with staging, I'm given free rein to create a space that is warm and inviting.

Here's a great example:  This home was on the market for over 1 year without a single offer.  The owner had the home painted and had me staged the "key" rooms (LR, Kitchen, DR, Master, Baths).  He also raised his asking price by $10K.

The results:  The home sold in 4 weeks and the homeowner came $200.00 shy of his new asking price.

See what I mean about how staging can be so rewarding!

Kathy - beautiful! And your vignettes are perfect. I do not believe vacant homes need to be fully furnished. Actually, I don't even recommend it...vignettes are just right! You have proved it here!!!

I think you did a great job and I agree with Sheron I do not believe vacant homes have to be completely furnished. I do the same as you....

You did an outstanding job.  I will have to post a blog for this question as it pertains to something that should be in the Stagers Open Forum.  How much should you stage a vacant? Please look at my post in Members only.

Thanks everyone.

Val - I too love looking at "before" and "after" pics.  I could spend a whole day just doing that alone.

Hey Kathy, I was trying to remember who posted with vignettes earlier today because there is another post asking what to do. I think you both are on the Stage it forward front page but I am calling it a night right now. I am bookmarking this for future reference for others because you nailed it!

Hi Kathy, that looks great, is that your furniture or rentals with your accessories?  Do you consider the photo to be vignettes?  If so, what do you own and place in the home... no couches, just chairs and small furniture?  I would love to know what is neccesary and what I don't need to purchase for vignette staging only.
Posted by Letitia Granum (Stage It Today) about 5 years ago
Hi, Letitia.  The furniture is rental and the accessories are mine.  Actually, the home was furnished with couch, chair, coffee table, end table, dining room set, masterbed room set, etc...  So, in reality, it really wasn't done in a vignette style.  On the otherhand, I tend to not overdue it with the furnishings as the objective, and with this home in particular, was to ensure the "space" of the home could be visually seen.  In otherwords, it was loaded up with furniture but just enough to provide the warmth furnishings and accessories can bring.  I hope that helps.
