One of the challenges faced by home owners is that the pictures of their vacant home often appear cold. How the home appears on the internet is an important element to consider. Here are examples of a home we staged yesterday.
Here's the same room, different angle.
The following picture shows the living room. The hall way, behind the staircase leading down, takes you to the master bedroom. As a result, the couch could not be centered in front of the window.

Be curious to hear your thoughts on his post.
It's a great article, Josef. Thanks for providing the link.
Perhaps one of the most valid points made is to "stage it properly." A professional stager will understand the importance of asking who the potential buyers are. Young buyers want homes more hip, while the more mature buyer tends to lean more toward the traditional.
Thanks for your comment, Josef.

Kathy I just love your style. You did an amazing transformation of that vacant! Thank you for sharing it with all of us !
GORGEOUS! So true about the internet too. I can't believe sometimes the horrible photos I see on the MLS. Just makes me cringe. I also can't say enough that I LOVE when stagers and realtors share their before and after photos. Keep up the good work!
Thanks everyone!
The Realtor just sent me an email and loved how the home came out.
Kathy

Kathy once again you have done a fabulous staging job. If I were looking at pictures on the MLS - the vacant ones would be gone in a flash! What you have done kept me looking for a much longer period of time. Thanks for the post. Betty
Kathy, Very nicely done. Liked the before and after photos. Great job.
