The re-blogging of a blog was all new to me until I read the blog written by Michelle Minch on re-blogging. Since then, I spent some time searching for other blogs on the subject to further educate myself on the pros and cons associated with re-blogging. As I see it, re-blogging is a wonderful way to deliver valuable information to a broader base of readers. To me, that's an incredible opportunity and I thank the leaders of Active Rain for making that available to us.
Now with all that said, I didn't expect to have one of my blogs re-blogged (at least not as soon as it was). I had written the blog; The Top 5 Reasons Why Home Staging Is So Effective on Monday. That same day, Bob Southard, an Active Rain member and someone I've had the good fortune of working with re-blogged this post on his outside blog. Did Bob do me a favor? Perhaps. However, what he really did is to provide valuable information to his subscriber base from someone he considered an expert on the subject.
As Bob Stewart said in his blog regarding this subject; "Not everyone can be an expert in everything. However, in the halls of Active Rain we have experts in just about anything real estate related. Being able to utilize the expertise of other members to inform your readers and your clients will be beneficial for everyone, especially your clients."
To Bob Stewart - I couldn't agree more.
To Bob Southard - Thank you for making the time to share information with your readers on the effectiveness of staging.

Kathy,
No problem at all. I'm still a little unsure about the whole reblogging thing, But I do want to have good info available for my readers and clients.
Your work is the best, I'm always glad to recomend you to anybody who wil listen!
Hey Kathy, I wasn't sure what was going on when I saw both of those posts! LOL But, yes, thanks to Michelle's post I was able to clarify what exactly went on there and then it all made perfect sense. Congrats on being reblogged! =)
Kathy ~ Reblogging is beneficial to all, including the original author of the post, as you pointed out. Glad to see that A/R made this feature possible.
Kathy, I think re-blogging is a great opportunity to get the word out about staging and anything else.. Congrats.. I tried to re-blog a post yesterday to my outside blog and it ended up on my AR blog.. I am going to have to figure that out.. God bless,
Re-Blogs are a nice way to spread important information. Thanks for the post to Michelle Minch blog post, as I was a bit puzzled on AR definition of "Re-Blog" as it tends to differ among other websites.
Kathy,
I always feel so honored when someone not only quotes me, but also agrees :-) (maybe someone could tell my wife that I have a good idea every now and then, haha)
I agree, I think re-blogging is a great idea, as long as they give the writer credit.
Bob - Thanks for your kind words. I think you have this re-blogging thing down to a science as it worked!
Thanks, Abby.
Maureen - I too am happy it's available.
Cheryl - I haven't tried to re-blog yet. I think that Brad had written a blog on how the process works. When I have time, I'll find it and send it to you.
TRP - I'm glad Michelle's post was helpful.
Bob - I can send Mrs. Stewart a note and let her know (smile).
Cindy - I agree.
