I'll never forget the day. It was Feb. 24th of '06 and we had arrived to de-stage a home that had sold in only weeks after having been on the market for over a year without a single offer. It was an important day as it was the very first home we had staged. Seeing the "under contract" sign warmed my heart.
With many "under contract" signs behind me, I'm still thrilled when I pull up to the home we're de-staging and I see that rider added to the yard sign. Today was no different.
I was camera-ready and had my assistant, Kristi, take this picture.
No, I'm not proud or anything! And yes, that's an apron!
NOTE: The builders, Jason & Gretchen Patsios build incredible homes. This home was the 2nd home they had me stage (the first went under contract in 2 weeks). Thanks Jason & Gretchen for the opportunity to help make a difference!

Congrats, it never gets old does it. I feel the same way, we use sale pending here. But it feels GOOD.
I have seen lots of staging and mostly it seems to be there. I have heard when a house looks bad but rarely when it looks good.
Yea Kathy! You should be very proud, your work is great, that's why you have so many of those signs. I can't wait for my first "under contract" sign. I'm ready to experience the excitement too. BTW, your apron looks cute on you.
Kathy: Another job well done. Congratulations. You deserve all the good things coming your way.
little black dress or apron -- you can certainly pull it off, my friend! Congrats!
TerryLynn - You're right, it never gets old (smile).
Donna- in no time, you'll have your first one. Be sure to take a picture of it and post it for all to see!
Thanks, Michelle. You're such a doll.
Karen - Thank you!
Kathy
Kathy ~ That's great! You look lovely in your apron! : ) Hey, you could use that as a profile pic!
Kathy P - What a good idea. I'm staging a vacant today and will update with this photo when I return. Thanks for the recommendation.

Cute photo, Kathy. A great marketing idea!
Kathy: I have to smile everytime I see the title to this post.
I LOVE the apron! I actually want one to hold my hammer and cell phone, the two things I keep misplacing. Yes it does warm your home to see that SIGN, there is nothing better
Congrats! Phyllis Pafumi
