One of the challenges many home owners face is figuring out how best to showcase their home. And often times, it's the small spaces that can create the biggest challenge.
Case in point, here's one of the before pictures prior to staging. This home has three bedroom; this one being used as an office. Unfortunately, the single desk just didn't paint the right picture with the potential buyers viewing the home. It was great in concept but... wasn't working effectively for the seller.
Now here's the same room with some very simple solutions.

As you can see, only six items were added; two cast iron pieces, a print, greenery, a chair and a lamp. My advice to homeowners faced with this challenge - keep it simple. And remember, it's not the number of the pieces used but rather what those pieces are and how well they fit together.

Kathy, this is a PERFECT example of how small changes can make a HUGE impact. Great work as always!
Kathy: Nice job of demonstrating how knowing just what to add makes a big difference in how a room feels to a prospective buyer. The first photo is cold and uninviting. The second photo shows a place I'd like to sit down and work. You didn't add much, but what you added totally changed the feel of the room.
Kathy, very nice, you made a big impact on such a small space. You really brought it to life.
What a great way to fill in the space...you also have a view out the door. The right accessories make all the difference!
Hi Kathy, Simple and effective work done by a Professional Stager. This photo is a testimony to the advantages of using a Stager to get an edge when marketing a property in these competitive times. Now this property has a reason to stand out in the listing photos and in the buyers mind.
Atlanta should be very proud to have you as a stager! Great job. Thanks for the pics!
Thanks everyone for your very kind words. I absolutely LOVE what I do and I hope it shows.
Kathy
Very nicely done (as usual). Small spaces can be a big challenge, but your solution is beautiful!
It is amazing what a big difference a few accessories place properly can make! Great work.
NICE JOB and yes very simple but a big impact. The homeowners were probably thrilled with the transformation.
