As the founder of the group Home Staging Before & After Pictures, I've had the great pleasure of featuring several outstanding staging projects throughout 2008. I've enjoyed being the moderator of the group and look forward to many more projects getting posted and featured.
So, as we head into few remaining days of 2008, I thought it would be neat to create a series of posts that affords all stagers with an opportunity to showcase their favorite projects.
This first post begins with your "Most Favorite Staging Transformation." Future posts will center on: Favorite bathroom; favorite bedroom; favorite kitchen, living room, etc...
Here's my favorite "transformation."
Here's the after:

Thx Kathy! This will be fun to see the best of the best of B & A's in '08. I will post mine in your group soon!
Kathy,
As a guy I kind of liked the foosball table :-). As an agent I have to say that the transformation rocks! Great job as always.
I look forward to your post, Karen.
Bob - I too like foosball. In fact, I'm quite certain I could beat you (smile).

Hi Kathy, this is going to be such a good post for everyone here on AR. There are so many talented Professional Stagers that congregate here that it will be a pleasure to check in each day to get my fill of transformations. So here goes... my favourite transformation was a master bedroom. When I was finished Staging the room the homeowner had tears in her eyes and hugged me. She had always envisioned the room as a place to retreat from the day and feel like she was at a luxury hotel suite. She just didn't know how to pull it together. Now she could enjoy her master bedroom before she moved. Her dream became a reality. End result, the house sold in a very tough market for near list.
Michelle - I love everything about your "after" picture. From the art over the bed to the actual bedding itself. You did a fantastic job!
Kathy
I'm just about to post one too - thanks Kathy! These would be great on energized seller too ;-) .....
This was amongst my favorites because the before was SO jumbled and distracting. The calming effect of the changes is what we were so pleased about.
I can't imagine how long that home may have been on the market had you not cleared out that room with the beautiful fireplace. Wonderful before and after photos!
Here's one of our favorites--this home was occupied by the parents and 4 children all under the age of 6. We worked with what they had. I can't tell you how many patch holes were all over this house. What you can't see behind the camera is a huge sectional that we separated, and turned into a conversational area--and we also removed "the claw." LOL There was faux painting removed, and basically just order restored. Staging made a huge difference in this house. We couldn't decide between the kitchen or this one, so we will have to save that for our favorite kitchen!!!
Hi Kathy, just catching up on blogs and yours is always one of my favorites. Love the transformation. I see that in the before they own a blue dog and I own one also (a bit different). I just goes to show that our own tastes in decor is not always what we should use in selling our homes.
Wonderful Site! So glad I found it.
